Hixter Bankside is OPEN

HIXTER has arrived in Bankside, and if you've eaten at Tramshed or consumed cocktails in Mark's Bar you'll have an idea of what's in store.

Sitting in an old metal box factory Hixter Bankside is just south of Borough market and around the corner from Tate Modern.  Dinstintive in its design with quirky nods to the buildings past, Hixter is just the spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner or cocktails.

At Hixter Mark Hix’s idea is simple: it’s chicken or steak to share.


Mighty-marbled Himalayan salt dry-aged steak from hand-selected cows and barn-reared chicken from Swainson House Farm in Lancashire. Starters and puddings change with the seasons.


Mark’s Bar, our latest outpost of Mark Hix’s award-winning cocktail bar is located in the basement, serving cocktails that champion British drinks’ producers.


Two private dining rooms for 8-50 guests are the perfect way to feast with friends from our range of private dining menus
