The RNLI provides, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service in addition to a seasonal lifeguard service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, their lifeboats, and since 2001, their lifeguards, have saved more than 140,000 lives.
The Fishermen’s Mission reaches out to both active and retired fishermen by providing practical, spiritual and financial support – as well as a vital emergency response service. Being the sole charity that helps fishermen and their families, for over 130 years of service.
