Foraged and wild food dinner

This year’s series of Meet The Producers dinners at HIX Oyster & Fish House welcomes a host of producers, chefs and foragers from the Dorset and Devon coast and countryside. Mark will be joined by our guest hosts for these one-off dinners in Lyme Regis.

For everything you ever wanted to know about foraging, mushroom hunting, edible weeds and sea vegetables, John Wright will be our guest host for one night only to share his experience and knowledge of everything wild. Author or River Cottage Handbooks on hedgerows, edible seashore and mushrooms John regularly hosts talks and foraging trips along the Dorset coast.

Mark Hix’s menu of wild mushrooms, sea vegetables and edible seaweed will be served (see full menu below). Sharing many a tale of his foraging forays, there will be plenty of time to chat to John and Mark throughout the evening. Ticket price includes the menu below. Drinks will be charged at the current list price, and we will make suggestions for wine pairing for the evening.
